It&#8217;s a New Year and time for some of us to get going on our resolutions. So this year let&#8217;s make losing weight fun.</p>
<p>But, before starting this or any diet it is important to first seek the advice of your Doctor or Health Care Provider. A diet program should be good for you and only trained professionals can determine what is healthy for your particular situation.</p>
<p>Once you have been given the go ahead to start your diet, design an easy to follow routine. A routine that will allow you the flexibility to continue to enjoy your normal lifestyle and still accomplish your weight loss goals. A program that isn&#8217;t too restrictive. Dieting is can be hard work, so make sure you includes healthy choices that you enjoy.  If you learn to eat the healthy version of your favorite foods then you are more likely to stick to your diet and enjoy your weight loss successes .</p>
<p>Let&#8217;s take a look at 6 simple ways to loose weight and have fun for 2012.</p>
<p>1. Set realistic weight loss goals.<br />
It&#8217;s OK to desire to lose 20 lbs, however its not realistic to believe that all 20 lbs can be<br />
lost in 1 week. A pound or two a week is more easily obtainable. Remember you did not gain this weight overnight.</p>
<p>2. Eat a healthy menu.<br />
Healthy is the keyword to remember here. A variety of fruits and vegetables along with plenty of<br />
water will take you through your <strong><a href="http://www.anaboliccooking.com/index.php?hop=wl4anyone">diet program</a></strong> successfully. Eat several small meals rather than 2 or 3 larger meals. Remember never skip breakfast, it is the most important meal of the day.</p>
<p>3. Construct a friendly exercise schedule.<br />
Exercise to have fun. 20 minutes, 30 minutes even 40 minutes 3 or 4 times a week is good as long as you<br />
don&#8217;t over do it. Remember to always begin with a warm up and to allow for a cool down when you are finishing.</p>
<p>4. Reward yourself for your short term weight loss goal accomplishments.<br />
Lets say your goal was to lose 1 pounds in a week and you lose 3 pounds. Then you have exceeded your short term goal, and you should reward yourself. Just make sure that your reward isn&#8217;t a 500 calorie piece of pie twice in a day. That&#8217;s is not the reward that is going to get you to your ultimate weight loss goal.<br />
After all you do want to reach your goal this year:) Remember your reward does not have to be food. Take in a movie, go bowling, or any thing that you enjoy doing.</p>
<p>5. Adjust your menu and exercise routine as necessary to prevent burn-out.<br />
So you had a really exhausting day at work, but you have a 30 minute work out scheduled.<br />
An easy adjustment could be to either do a shorter work out or simply to pass on today&#8217;s exercise routine and add the time to another light day. You could even pass on the exercise all together. The main idea<br />
is to not add stress to your life and feel guilty. Guilt is not on the agenda. You can&#8217;t have fun<br />
on your diet if your are feeling guilty.  </p>
<p>6. Take a break at least once a week to enjoy your favorite foods.<br />
Construct your weight loss program to allow you the ability to splurge and treat yourself to your favorite meal. Allow at least 1 day a week to enjoy your favorite meal.  If you meet your goal for the week you may even include a small shopping spree which will help to keep you motivated. Just remember not to go overboard, small portions and counting those calories would not hurt. </p>

Many cases of diabetes are caused by, or aggravated by, weight gain. Once you have diabetes, however, losing weight can be difficult. It has to be done, however, in order to get your body back into good physical health and to control the effects of diabetes. <strong><a href="http://www.weightlossforanyone.info/blog/2011/05/13/healthy-eating-options-for-diabetic-weight-loss/">Diabetics have several options for safe weight loss</a></strong>. Here are 5 diabetic tips for healthy weight loss. </p>
<p>1. Set realistic weight loss goals. When exploring your safe options for diabetic weight loss, you need to set goals that you will realistically be able to achieve. No one likes setting goals and not reaching them. You can always create a new goal once you reach the first one.  Figure out a weight goal that you would like to be able to reach within a few months. Concentrate on meeting that goal and reward yourself when you do. Reaching your goal will inspire you to create a new goal and will give you the confidence to achieve it as well.</p>
<p>2. Change your diet. The best way for diabetics to maintain a healthy diet is to eat the proper ratio of carbs, fat and protein.  According to WebMD, the proper ratio for diabetics is 50% to 55% carbs, 30% fat and 10% to 15% protein. Look at your current diet and see what you need to change about it. You may need to reduce your protein intake and up your carb intake. Choose carbs that are whole grains, such as millet, quinoia and brown rice. Fats should be healthy ones, such as coconut oil, raw butter and olive oil. Eliminate processed foods and those with excess sugar from your diet. </p>
<p>3. Set a routine. You will also need to set a work out routine for yourself. Eating right must be combined with an active lifestyle that <strong><a href="http://actionweightloss.com/?hop=wl4anyone">includes some sort of exercise in order to be effective</a>.</strong> Make time during your weekly schedule for at least 30 minutes of exercise a day, whether it is simply a walk around the block or a more intense workout. Stick to your routine as much as is possible. </p>
<p>4. Avoid unhealthy foods. This may seem like a no-brainer, but it has to be said. Avoid processed foods that are high in sugar or even sugar substitutes. This will effect the delicate balance of blood sugar and can aggravate your diabetes. Carry your own healthy snacks with you. Drink unsweetened juice plenty of water and avoid sodas, even if they are diet. </p>
<p>5. Give it time to work. Healthy diabetic weight loss will take time. Don&#8217;t expect immediate results and get frustrated and give up if it doesn&#8217;t happen soon enough. You may have to be on your healthy diabetic weight loss diet for a few months before you start to see real results. However, know that this is the normal, healthy way for weight loss to occur. Don&#8217;t give up, and you will be rewarded for a slimmer and healthier body in time!</p>
