The human body is mostly water. In fact, more than ¾ of the human body is water, making it the single most significant part of a healthy body system. When you are trying to lose weight fast, the most important thing to think about is your water intake. If you are not getting enough water, you will find yourself having a harder time losing weight and keeping it off. This is because the amount of water you drink is directly proportional to your health. Drinking water is almost always number 1 on fast weight loss tips and here’s why.
Water increases metabolism rates. After you drink just 17 ounces of water, the metabolic rate in both men and women can increase by as much as 30%. This means that when you drink water with a meal, you will digest your food better and less of it will be stored as fat in your body. If you want to lose weight fast, the best thing you can do is to speed up your metabolism. Drinking water is a simple way to accomplish this and has absolutely zero unwanted side effects.
Water helps flush toxins from the body. Water is an excellent detoxification agent. When consumed even in modest amounts, it eliminates unwanted toxins from the body and flushes them out. Toxins can cause your body to function slowly and poorly, leading to a loss of energy and weight gain. Flushing toxic material from your body by drinking water will result in the ability to lose weight fast. Water gives you energy. In order to lose weight fast, you have to exercise and that takes energy. Water gives you instant energy and is the best thing to drink when exercising. It will instantly rehydrate you and give you the energy to continue on with your work out. This is because a dehydrated body is a tired one. You lose water constantly due to normal body functions to replacing it often by full glasses of water is important to health as well as to successful weight loss.
