If someone told you that certain foods could aid in fast weight loss, would you believe them? Well, it’s true. There are certain foods that naturally increase your body’s metabolism and can aid in fast weight loss when you add them to your meal. Try incorporating one or more of these metabolism boosting foods into every meal to help lose weight and keep it off for good.
1. Fruit as snacks. Fruit is a high fiber snack that is low in calories that also increases metabolism. Eat a piece of fresh fruit before exercising to make calorie burning more effective.
2. Broccoli is high in calcium, such food as broccoli are an important part of losing weight. In addition to calcium, broccoli is also high in vitamin C, which boosts calcium in take in the body. And, with only 20 calories per cup, you can each as much as you want.
3. Green Tea has been known to naturally speed up metabolism and when consumed with a meal. Green tea will help to prevent food from being stored as fat in the body. For fast and lasting weight loss add a cup of green tea to each meal, or drink a cup of green tea after working out.
4. Oatmeal is a friendly carbohydrate because it has a large amount of fat soluble fiber, which helps your body to break down cholesterol. Choose steel cut oats over instant to get the most minerals, vitamins and fiber out of your oatmeal.
5. Hot Peppers Chilies and other hot peppers contain capsaicin which naturally boost metabolism. Adding peppers to your meal will help you to burn more calories naturally so don’t be afraid to order your favorite dish extra spicy.
6. Celery is a great snack that is calorie free which is an added benefit. The amount of calories your body spends chewing and digesting celery negates any calories contained in this vegetable. Eating celery will make you feel full without adding on any pounds. Eat them raw or with a low fat topping such as cottage cheese.
7. Salad leafy greens are high in iron and fiber and will help your body to burn calories while you eat. Eating a salad before your main meal will help you to fill up so you will eat less cooked food. Top your salad with olive oil and balsamic vinegar instead of dressing to make it the perfect low cal meal.
8. Grapefruit. Researchers at the Scripps Clinic in San Diego found that participants lost an average of 3.6 pounds just from eating half a grapefruit after each daily meal. This is because grapefruit promotes weight loss by naturally reducing insulin levels.
9. Yogurt Dairy products, according to a recent issue of Obesity Research, can help boost metabolism and aid in weight loss. Yogurt, a naturally fermented food, contains live organisms that also aid in digestion. Choose the plain variety and add fresh fruit for a flavorful treat that will help shed extra pounds.
10. Water is essential to a healthy diet. It helps to flush the body of toxins, aids in digestion and boosts metabolism. In addition, drinking a full glass of water before a meal will make you feel full so you won’t eat as much. Be sure and drink plenty of water while exercising to keep hydrated and burn calories more effectively.
Be sure to consult with your Doctor or Health Care Provider before you attempt this or any weight loss program.

Hi.. Great post! love the accuracy of this info… I also would like to add that although i agree with all that you have said in this post, let’s not forget that there are also healthy tactics that go with eating the right foods for weightloss. For example, eating often, small meals, 5 to 6 meals/day, with calibration in mind and portion control while eating all of the foods you mention above are the tactics that will get us there. Thanks for sharing your content.

Hi,
Maybe like you, I am one of the millions of people who have always struggled with weight loss. I have yo-yo’d up and down all through my life; sometimes chubby, sometimes obese, and occasionally thin. I cannot remember a time before in my life that I was completely happy and satisfied with my weight, even since childhood.
Every time I got near my goal, my fat thoughts, patterns, visions and doubts would creep back in and I would find myself FAT AGAIN! On the surface I wanted to be thin and talked down to myself for being overweight, but on a deeper level I believed that I didn’t deserve to be thin, and I also didn’t want to give up the security and other comforts that being overweight gave me. I know that now.I looked like a huge blimp! I had to weigh over 300 pounds!I looked like a huge blimp!I was introduced to an alternative therapist by a friend who he help with financial issues after I had lost so much money on new drugs and
weight loss programs.Ihad almost given up on everything,I was feeling unworthy, not trusting my own beliefs and feelings, not expressing myself and once again putting up the security blanket that allowed me to make excuses to not be all that I can be,I did everything
he said and instructed me to,used some materials he sent me..I lost 65 pounds
just a day of using the materials and now after a week, have lost a
total of 132lbs..I never believed it was possible, its a miracle.I hope
you could contact him if you need the same healing as I
